简介： 根据吴祖光话剧《正气歌》改编。 宋度宗年间, 元兵围攻襄阳城. 右丞相贾似道隐瞒战情, 宋将吕文焕被迫独力守城, 长达三年之久. 此事终为度宗得悉, 秘书监文天祥奏请皇上将贾似道斩首. 贾似道虚报战况, 反告文天祥诽谤之罪. 文天祥决意暂且归隐, 假装沉迷歌姬, 暗中联合有志之士共商国策. 未几, 吕文焕向元兵投降. 贾似道亲率宋师迎敌, 结果战败, 被贬高州. 文天祥旋即获封为右丞相, 奉召领兵出征, 却被伯颜掳获. 伯颜劝天祥投降, 天祥不允, 终被伯颜押返北京. 幸途中天祥得船夫余元庆舍命相助, 方能逃回真州. 期间, 文天祥遭人诬蔑为元人内奸, 被迫转往温州. 文天祥上奏益广二王, 得以洗脱罪名, 再次统领宋师, 大败元军, 并获封为信国公. 最后, 文天祥与元兵决战于五坡岭, 不幸又遭伯颜俘虏. 文天祥被囚三年, 宁死不降, 最终被元世祖下令处斩.
